Career Opportunity: Area Sales Manager at a Leading Electric Vehicle Manufacturer

We are a prominent Electric Vehicle manufacturer, committed to driving innovation and sustainability. Currently, we are inviting applications for the position of Area Sales Manager (ASM) in Bihar ( candidates are preferred from Patna, Bhagalpur, Jamui ) .

As the Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market share, and managing dealership/retail networks within your assigned territory. You will lead and support a team of sales representatives (if applicable), ensure customer satisfaction, and execute strategic sales initiatives aligned with company goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • 3–7 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the automotive or EV industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electric vehicle products, charging infrastructure, and the evolving mobility landscape.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing channel/distribution networks.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for EV products in the assigned area.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, dealers, fleet operators, and key customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities and markets to increase revenue and expand the EV customer base.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on local campaigns, events, and promotions.
  • Track sales performance metrics, prepare reports, and present insights to senior management.
  • Conduct regular training, product knowledge sessions, and performance reviews with channel partners and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to EV sales and customer interactions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
