Medvey Biotech Pvt Ltd deal pharmaceutical business, based at Mumbai Thane; deal in Cardiac, Diabetic, Anti Allergic, Expectorant and Cough suppressant and in Pediatric segment.

Job Summary:

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is responsible for achieving sales targets within an assigned geographic area by managing a team of Medical Representatives (MRs) and ensuring effective implementation of sales and marketing strategies. The ASM plays a key role in market expansion, relationship management with healthcare professionals, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

Achieve and exceed sales targets for the assigned area.

Develop and implement strategies to maximize product sales.

Identify new business opportunities and expand market reach.

Team Management & Training

Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of Medical Representatives (MRs).

Conduct regular training programs for the sales team on product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry trends.

Monitor the performance of MRs and ensure adherence to company policies.

Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, pharmacists, hospitals, and distributors.

Conduct joint fieldwork with MRs to strengthen relationships with key customers.

Address customer concerns and provide solutions to enhance satisfaction.

Market Analysis & Strategy Implementation

Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

Provide feedback to the marketing team for strategic planning.

Ensure proper execution of promotional activities and campaigns.

Sales Reporting & Compliance

Maintain accurate sales reports and analyze performance metrics.

Ensure compliance with ethical marketing practices and industry regulations.

Submit timely reports to senior management on sales performance and market insights.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Science (B.Sc.), or Business Administration (MBA preferred).

Experience Required:

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role.

Experience in handling a team of Medical Representatives.

Skills & Competencies:

Excellent communication skills in Hindi, English, and the regional language of the assigned area.

Smart personality with a professional and formal attire.

Strong negotiation and interpersonal abilities.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Good understanding of pharmaceutical products, market trends, and sales techniques.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and analysis.

Ability to analyze market trends and develop business strategies.

Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.

Other Requirements:

Strong networking abilities with healthcare professionals and distributors.

Knowledge of regulatory and compliance guidelines in the pharmaceutical industry.

Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
