Position Overview We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Area Sales Manager to oversee regional sales operations and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of proven experience in sales , preferably within a manufacturing or product-based industry. This role requires strong leadership capabilities, strategic thinking, and the ability to build and maintain successful customer and distributor relationships. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve regional sales targets. Lead and mentor the sales team to ensure optimal performance and market coverage. Manage and expand the distributor, dealer, and retailer network within the assigned territory. Collaborate with the manufacturing and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and timely deliveries. Conduct regular market visits to monitor competition, gather market intelligence, and identify new opportunities. Oversee execution of promotional activities, product launches, and merchandising standards. Maintain strong relationships with key customers and business partners. Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to senior management. Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and operational standards. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is an advantage). Minimum 5 years of sales experience , preferably in FMCG, manufacturing, consumer products, or similar industries. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
