Goal: To lead a group of store managers that delivers an exceptional customer experience, maximizes revenue, and optimizes profit. Job Description: Retail Operation Effectively manage the set of retail shops within the company's defined policies and guidelines, ensuring 100% customer satisfaction at all times. Control day-to-day operations of each outlet through effective supervision and guidance to the team that enables them to deliver a great customer experience. Conduct daily and weekly reviews with the outlets to evaluate their performance and guide them to maximize sales on a regular basis. Be obsessed with beating the daily/monthly/quarterly/yearly targets through innovative sales improvement ideas and executing exceptional operational standards. Present the area performance to the line manager with an action plan to improve the performance of the laggards. Drive the sales of the focused products and eradicate the non-movers. Ensure all outlets adhere to the visual merchandising standards. Ensure the outlets are compliant with the legal and government regulations. Safeguard the brand at all times and be the brand ambassador on and off duty. Motivate and inspire the team for operational excellence and assist them in achieving the targets. Conduct announced and unannounced audits in the outlet to identify the gaps and work on the action plans to meet the company objectives. To ensure the effectiveness of process improvements, training needs analysis, and stock management. Maintain security controls- cash, keys, alarms, and stock. Business Development Do a market comparative study every quarter and present the findings back to the leadership team. Be an active participant and action driver in company strategy execution. Identify opportunities to grow the brand footprint by conducting a market study. Team Management Conduct a training needs analysis for the outlets and train the team accordingly. Conduct annual performance reviews of the staff and make a career progression plan and a performance improvement plan for the performers and laggards accordingly. Ensure all outlets are sufficiently staffed at all times Miscellaneous To initiate tie-ups with brands/retailers to increase footfall for stores To create alliances with external partners to increase value addition to the existing customer base. Preferred candidate profile Candidate should be a results-driven sales professional with experience in retail/channel sales, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple store operations while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
