Job Description

Area Sales Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

Achieve area-wise sales targets by effectively managing and motivating the field sales team.
Execute sales strategies and plans in alignment with regional goals to expand the brand’s retail presence.
Identify and onboard potential retail partners and distributors in Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities.
Monitor and report on area-level sales performance, P&L, and inventory movements to the Regional/National Sales Manager.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and retail stakeholders.
Ensure timely resolution of market issues and customer concerns to maintain satisfaction.
Conduct regular market visits to track competitor activity and stay updated on trends.
Train and guide sales representatives on product knowledge, sales techniques, and Anveshan's brand values.

Skills and Qualifications

5–8 years of proven experience in FMCG offline sales (Can be negotiated for exceptionally talented candidates), preferably in natural or food products.
Strong understanding of area sales dynamics, channel distribution, and field sales operations.
Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and manage area-level P&L.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and sales reporting tools.
Basic understanding of accounting and inventory software is a plus.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
