A leading distribution firm seeks a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team in Kottayam, Kerala. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding sales within the assigned territory, focusing on building strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and other B2B clients. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development: Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the Kottayam region. Identify and onboard new dealers, distributors, and retail points to expand market reach. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets and increase product visibility. Client Relationship Management: Maintain and nurture excellent relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention. Conduct regular visits to client locations to present product information, negotiate deals, and resolve any issues promptly. Serve as the primary point of contact for all sales-related queries and support in the territory. Market Analysis & Reporting: Conduct market research to stay updated on competitor activities, market trends, and potential business opportunities. Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and expense reports in a timely manner. Provide feedback to the management team on product performance, customer needs, and market demands. Inventory & Logistics Coordination: Coordinate closely with the logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely and accurate product delivery. Monitor stock levels at client locations and facilitate timely reorders to prevent stock-outs. Qualifications and Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. A relevant diploma with proven experience will also be considered. Experience: Minimum of 1-4 years of experience in B2B sales, field sales, or distribution sales, Prior experience in the Kottayam/Central Kerala market is a strong advantage. Skills: Excellent communication (Malayalam and English) and negotiation skills. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport quickly. Proficiency in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) Other Requirements: Must possess a two-wheeler and a valid driving license for local travel within the territory.
