Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Prospecting leads and contacting them to pitch the product.

  • Creating a short- and long-term sales plan with the intention of achieving the given objectives.
  • Consistently meet revenue goals in accordance with team/organizational goals.
  • Take up the responsibility of opening new outlets during market visits and provide necessary

support in terms of elements, and discounts.

  • Build and maintain relationships with existing customers, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction

and repeat business. Establishing new business links with new distributors, retailers &

customers

  • Respond to customer inquiries, provide product information, and address any concerns or

issues.

  • Develop and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospective clients.
  • Monitor industry trends.
  • Competitor activity and market conditions to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including marketing and production, to ensure product

availability and customer satisfaction.

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including customer interactions, sales calls,

and revenue generated.

  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and other events to network and promote the company's

products.

  • Provide regular sales reports to management, highlighting progress towards goals and

identifying areas for improvement.

  • Should target and generate sales from HORECA/QSR chains/ Stand-alone meat shops/ Meat

wholesalers and hyper-local delivery companies.

  • Presenting product demonstrations to the client.
  • Negotiating contracts to arrive at the best deal for the client and organization both.
  • Seek new opportunities through networking, cold calling, social media channels, etc.
  • Take timely feedback from retailers, distributors, and other customers and share it with

respective teams.

  • Must coordinate with internal as well as external customers on order and invoice generation,

credit and payment follow-up, etc.

  • Must coordinate with production sites on production and timely dispatches.
  • Good in gathering market intelligence.
