Area Manager-Trade Finance - Branch Banking - Retail Sales

 About The Role  
Has a reporting span of 6 10 Trade PSMs2. Alignment is typically to the branch banking region (i.e., RBH)3. Responsible for the achievement of business segment (i.e., non-individual) TFX Income target assigned to the branches4. Responsible for increasing the trade client base5. Builds the trade asset book (Export Credit, Import Finance, BG, LCBD, Domestic Trade Non-LC Bills)6. Puts the catchment-wise strategy in place to scope TFX business opportunities7. Engages with the BMs, RMs and other Sales team members to draw a plan to achieve the target8. Provides the required product inputs / training to the stakeholders / builds the capability9. Organises marketing events / activities in consultation with stakeholders10. Builds the relationship with market makers like, CAs / Corporate Law Firms / Legal entities etc.,11. Monitors the key growth parameters in the portfolio and takes the corrective measures, in case of declining trend12. Makes sales calls / client meetings along with the RMs / sales team13. Assists the RMs / BMs in arriving at an appropriate TFX pricing applicable to the clients14. Launches local / catchment specific contests campaigns etc., to build and sustain the momentum15. Engages in periodical reviews with ABM and RBHs to analyse the gaps and puts the actionable in place as a corrective measure16. Addresses the client specific issues, if any17. Liases with back end and Trade Desks for the trns related aspects, wherever required18. Works closely with various units (TAD, Compliance, Escrow, Legal, Ops, Product etc.,) for Capital Account Trns, and ensures flawless execution of trns19. Engages with various industry associations like FIEO, EEPC, SEA etc., to promote the brand20. Monitors and ensures that the branches are completing Trade KYC, Additional Due Diligence21. Responsible for the compliance parameters of BoE / XAR pendency / MTTs
