Area Sales Manager

Location Requirement:

must be based out of Ranchi (Jharkhand)

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Strategy & Planning

• Develop and implement region-specific sales strategies to meet business goals and targets. Identify new market opportunities, build strong customer relationships, and drive growth in assigned areas.

• Team Leadership

• Manage, guide, and motivate a team of sales representatives to ensure high performance and target achievement. Maintain strong relationships with distributors, institutional clients, and schools. Ensure smooth order flow, timely collections, and customer satisfaction

• Performance Monitoring

• Regularly review sales performance and team efficiency. Provide feedback and implement corrective measures when necessary.

• Reporting & Communication

• Prepare timely sales reports, market feedback, and competitor insights to share with the senior management team.

Candidate Profile:

• Minimum

  4 years of experience

  in sales (preferably in

  educational publishing

  , FMCG, or related sectors).
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead or set a team, set targets, and deliver results.
• Good understanding of the Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand markets.
• Proficient in MS Office and reporting tools.
• Must be open to extensive travel within the region.

• Residence in Ranchi or Raipur is preferred.
