The Area Manager - Sales will be responsible for supporting the Sales Head and guiding the sales team to achieve business growth. He will lead the development of market strategies and ensure the nurturing of long-term relationships his leadership, he will work to expand market share and meet revenue targets across segments.
Your responsibilities as an Area Manager Sales:

To assist the Sales Head in devising, developing and designing various Marketing & Sales Strategies to reach the right potential clients.

Efficiently Managing Bottom Line

Reviewing day-to-day meetings of the sales team and directing various actions.

Monitoring the performance of the sales team and identifying training needs.

Closely monitoring the planned vs actual annual target and goals set by the organisation for the year.

Extending all possible cooperation in organising various marketing campaigns and events.

Motivating the sales team to support robust sales in respective areas.

Managing sales pipeline/forecast, project coordination, and payment collection.

Frequently expanding the sales team.

Briefing the Sales Head daily about sales & marketing activity, ongoing business activity.

Ensuring Periodical Training (soft skills & Technical Skills) of the Sales Team

Work closely with the product development, operations and engineering teams to ensure alignment in delivering market-driven solutions.

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies, product positioning and sales collateral that resonates with target customers.

Stay abreast of new developments in the water treatment industry, including technological advancements, regulatory changes and competitive landscape.

Represent the company at industry events, conferences and forums, showcasing expertise and expanding the company's presence in the market.
Cross-functional Management (In Consultation with Sales Head)

Coordinate with technical, service, purchase and finance teams to ensure the sales deals are effective and smoothly executed.

Participate in various Tendering exercises and ensure that all necessary actions are taken so that targets are achieved.

Ensuring all outstanding payments are received as per contract terms by guiding the accounts team & reviewing the same.

Ensuring smoother, faster and effective after-sales service/support for all clients.
Customer Relationship Management (In Consultation with Sales Head)

Developing excellent relationships with all existing and potential clients.

Identifying issues and taking action to deal with client queries. Keep a constant tap on market movements and report the same to the sales head

Sharing information and knowledge of new products or other developments with the clients
