You will be responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders, including distributors and healthcare professionals. Assessing needs, pursuing leads, and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services will also be part of your role. Additionally, you will promote and establish education of the company's products and services, conduct market research, and implement market development plans/strategies while adapting to changes as needed. Communication of customer feedback on new products and modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders, including R&D, Operations, and Marketing, will be essential. As a Sales Professional in the career stream at Medtronic, you will typically be an individual contributor with direct sales responsibilities. You may also direct the work of other lower-level sales professionals or manage sales processes and/or accounts involving multiple team members. Your focus will be on establishing and maintaining customer relationships, developing new customer relationships, implementing sales strategies, and closing sales. In your role, you will autonomously manage large accounts involving multiple team members, secure and maintain product distributions and/or services, and maintain effective agreements. Your impact will be significant in achieving departmental sales results and contributing to the development of goals for the department. You will work on one or more large accounts, drive adoption and penetration in accounts, and continuously make improvements to sales processes and tools to enhance performance. Your communication and influence skills will be crucial as you interact with internal contacts and external suppliers, customers, and vendors to manage relationships and close sales. Additionally, you may provide guidance, coaching, and training to other sales professionals and support employees while managing large accounts at this level, delegating work and reviewing others" work product. To excel in this role, you will need advanced knowledge of the job area typically obtained through education combined with broad sales experience. A Baccalaureate degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, along with complete knowledge of company products and services, are required.
