Area manager - First mile/ Middle Mile/ Last Mile

Role & responsibilities

Monitoring and improving the process, managing the First-mile team, and

assuring the property of safety conditions and efficiency.

• Leading and Supervising First Mile Team
• Day-to-day decision making upon strategies
• Design and implement an appropriate process to ensure the same-day

settlement of delivered waybills by agencies.

• Manage the logistics of agencies of different provinces/areas (e.g.

optimize the number as well as locations of distribution centers for each

city) in a way that expansion of the operations becomes feasible.

• Streamline the methods of pickup/delivery of customer packages to

assure that the service quality meets the demands

• Logistics management
• Understanding city level pickup operations and implement new processes

around pickup to optimize overall FM cost.

• Return route optimizations and understanding of return movement and

seller grievances handling.

Lead sort centre activities across a shift and support coordination of staff plans

and operating schedules.

Develop a strong performing team fostering a culture of safety, customer

obsession and engagement.

Support developing and implementing process quality and continuous

improvement initiatives.

Encourage and strengthen our strong culture of health and safety best practices.

Contribute to cross-functional projects as needed.

Linehaul and Vehicle planning understanding is must.

Responsible for the expansion of Last Mile Network through the Franchise/Partner model.

Plan and execute growth and expansion of pincode serviceability of LAAP.

• Identification of potential Vendors as Last Mile Partner in LAAP.
• Documentation, Training & Onboarding of New Partners in Last Mile
• Managing and driving the performance of the Last Mile Partners
• Deliver training & coaching of Processes, products, operating models and SOPs to the Last

Mile Partners

• Maintaining & publishing routine reporting on the partner's current performance. Publish

recommendations and action plans based on data. Reporting the overall Network Health in

the assigned territory.

• Work with Last Mile Partners to improve operational aspects of their business in providing a

great delivery experience and consistently enhance efficiency.

• Handling day to day operational escalations and being available to round the clock to

manage the issues.
