Area Credit Manager

Role Overview: You will be responsible for underwriting SME loans including Mortgage, LAP, Secured Business loans, and Microfinance Institute funding. Your key tasks will include making optimal use of the Loan Origination System and Loan Management system, maintaining Credit TAT, managing Credit Underwriting as per policy, monitoring Delinquency and NPA levels, managing Credit Cost, providing feedback to Credit Policy, conducting data analysis and reporting, PDD monitoring, industry analysis, and team handling. Key Responsibilities: - Underwrite SME loans such as Mortgage, LAP, Secured Business loans, and Microfinance Institute funding - Utilize Loan Origination System and Loan Management system efficiently - Maintain Credit TAT and ensure adherence to underwriting policies - Monitor Delinquency and NPA levels to meet budgeted targets - Manage Credit Cost within approved budgets - Provide feedback to Credit Policy based on underwriting experience - Conduct data analysis, including industry analysis and publishing reports - Monitor PDD and implement processes for effective credit underwriting - Lead and manage a team to achieve key performance indicators such as TAT, Portfolio Quality, Quality of Appraisal, and Cost Management Qualification Required: - Minimum 5-6 years of Credit Underwriting Experience - Desired Qualification: Chartered Accountant Additional Details: The company seeks individuals with a positive, pro-business attitude, excellent analytical skills, strong communication and presentation skills, in-depth product knowledge, ability to understand asset viability, and proficiency in reading and interpreting legal and technical reports related to financed properties.
