Area Credit Manager

As a Credit Analyst in this role, your main objective will be to conduct credit analysis of proposals and prepare credit notes. Your responsibilities will also include actively participating in deal structuring and credit enhancement to facilitate quick deal closures while maintaining a balance between business growth and portfolio quality. You will need to meet new and existing customers regularly, monitor the portfolio, identify early warning signals for stressed accounts, and implement corrective measures. Continuous monitoring of high-value exposures in the region is also a key part of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Perform credit analysis of proposals and prepare credit notes - Participate in deal structuring and credit enhancement for faster deal closures - Meet new and existing customers regularly - Monitor the portfolio for any signs of stress in accounts and take corrective actions - Continuously monitor high-value exposures in the region Qualifications Required: - Strong background in credit analysis and underwriting - Ability to balance business growth with portfolio quality - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making - Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to credit analysis and portfolio management In addition to the above responsibilities, you will also be expected to develop market intelligence by interacting with competitors, key business groups, and CA firms regularly. You will need to raise early warning signals for stressed accounts and ensure timely exit. Minimal audit queries, including RBI and statutory audits, should be handled efficiently and resolved within the prescribed timelines.,
