Job Description

As an Area Credit Manager at EQF, your role involves ensuring robust credit underwriting, monitoring delinquencies, and improving market intelligence. You will be responsible for preparing credit notes, conducting client visits, and analyzing transaction risks. Identifying automation opportunities, reducing audit queries, and staying updated on market practices are crucial to support well-informed decision-making. Your key responsibilities will include: - Amending credit notes and financial models - Interacting with collections and sales teams for delinquency tracking - Meeting customers to understand industry and market dynamics - Ensuring accuracy in credit notes and financial models - Regular interactions with sales and collections teams to monitor delinquencies and derive insights for continuous improvement Qualifications required for this role: - Minimum of an MBA/PGDBA/PGPM/CA or equivalent degree - 5-9 years of experience in Banks/FIs - Competencies in speed, meritocracy, leadership effectiveness, customer focus, tech quotient, sustainability, adaptability, influence, collaboration, integrity, resilience, agility, decisiveness, risk management, and financial acumen Key decisions you will make involve detailed credit note preparation, customer interactions for industry understanding, pre-approval and rating of clients with significant exposure, and control and monitoring of post-disbursement documents. You will also be responsible for portfolio management, risk assessment, financial analysis, and market intelligence development. Your role requires proactive risk management, early identification of stress accounts, resolution of audit queries within timelines, and regular market intelligence reporting. Identifying automation opportunities and maintaining credit underwriting quality are essential to ensure a robust credit portfolio. Customer visits and training sessions for sales teams are integral to enhancing market knowledge and maintaining portfolio health.,
