Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

Manage and lead a team of field collection executives across assigned locations.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual collection targets for the area.
Monitor bucket-wise delinquency (DPD - Days Past Due) and drive recovery strategies accordingly.
Implement and optimize collection strategies to reduce NPAs and improve cash flow.
Ensure effective follow-up with defaulting customers through field visits, calls, and legal action if necessary.
Liaise with legal teams for handling recovery through legal channels (e.g., arbitration, SARFAESI, etc. where applicable).
Conduct regular reviews and performance assessments of the collection team.
Maintain MIS and reporting of collection performance to senior management.
Ensure all collections and customer interactions adhere to regulatory and company compliance standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams like Credit, Sales, and Operations for smooth recovery processes.

Sound knowledge of legal aspects related to collections (especially for secured/unsecured loans)
