Area Business Head

As an Area Business Head, you will be responsible for driving sales, market penetration, and revenue growth in the Pune/Delhi region, with a focus on the publishing and education sectors. Your primary objective will be to promote the company's Mental Health Education Program in schools through book vendors/suppliers and ensure alignment with strategic objectives in educational publishing. Your key responsibilities will include generating orders from schools through product demonstrations, developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve targets, identifying new business opportunities, and establishing a network of school book vendors. You will also be managing relationships with channel partners, driving sales in schools through effective engagement, and identifying market gaps and growth opportunities. In addition, you will be required to ensure timely collection of receivables, report performance metrics to senior management, and plan and execute below-the-line activities such as book fairs, school events, and promotional campaigns. Strong skills in relationship-building, negotiation, sales planning, and market intelligence will be essential for success in this role. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in sales and distribution, preferably in the publishing or education sectors. A graduate/postgraduate degree is required, with additional exposure to educational products or the publishing industry considered a strong advantage. Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area is also necessary for this position.,
