to join our team for a 6-month engagement. The ideal candidate will act as a

data archiving and retention expert

, guiding solution architecture, design, and implementation in accordance with compliance standards such as

GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX

.The role requires strong technical expertise in

OpenText InfoArchive, Archon

, and modern

ETL tools

, along with a solid understanding of enterprise-wide data lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a data archiving and retention specialist, ensuring compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX regulations.
  • Architect, design, and implement data archiving and retention solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to ensure DevOps, CI/CD, and coding standards are consistently followed.
  • Analyze and evaluate enterprise-wide data archiving requirements to optimize storage, cost, and system performance.
  • Identify and implement new archiving candidates through continuous business analysis and lifecycle management.
  • Document archiving design patterns, configurations, and procedures.
  • Design and configure data retention strategies using OpenText InfoArchive, Archon, and modern ETL tools.
  • Perform data mapping and develop search screens based on business and customer requirements.
  • Deploy and maintain applications in InfoArchive, ensuring scalability and performance optimization.
  • Develop and manage data archiving jobs, pipelines, and integration frameworks leveraging REST APIs and cloud services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance and integration issues across systems.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with Archon and OpenText InfoArchive.
  • Proven expertise in data archiving, retention, and lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX.
  • Proficiency in ETL tools, REST API integrations, and cloud-based data management.
  • Experience working with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and coding standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work across global team
