Job Title: Architect Engineer (Civil Focus)

Job Overview:
We are in search of a skilled Architect Engineer with a focus on civil engineering aspects to join our dynamic team. This role will primarily involve utilizing AutoCAD software for both 2D and 3D drafting and modeling to design and coordinate civil engineering aspects of architectural projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, along with proficiency in AutoCAD to ensure the successful delivery of projects within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with architects, designers, and other stakeholders to integrate civil engineering requirements into architectural designs.
• Utilize AutoCAD to create accurate 2D drawings and 3D models for civil engineering elements such as site plans, grading plans, utility layouts, and drainage systems.
• Conduct site visits and surveys to assess site conditions, topography, and existing infrastructure, providing input for design development.
• Coordinate with structural engineers and other consultants to ensure alignment between architectural and civil engineering designs.
• Prepare construction documents, including detailed drawings, specifications, and quantity take-offs, adhering to project schedules and budgets.
• Review and analyze engineering calculations, reports, and test results to verify design feasibility and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in project meetings, offering technical expertise and addressing design-related issues as they arise throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stay informed about industry trends, advancements in civil engineering technology, and relevant building codes and regulations.
• Provide support during the construction phase, responding to RFIs (Requests for Information) and assisting with construction administration tasks as needed.
• Ensure that civil engineering designs prioritize safety, sustainability, and environmental considerations.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience working as an Architect Engineer with a focus on civil engineering aspects, preferably within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software for both 2D drafting and 3D modeling, with a strong attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of civil engineering principles, including site development, grading, drainage, and utility design.
• Familiarity with relevant software tools for civil engineering design and analysis (e.g., Civil 3D, Autodesk Revit).
• Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting processes related to civil engineering.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving design challenges.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to project deadlines and priorities.
