About the Role As an NPD / APQP Engineer , you will be a key member of MMPL’s New Product Development team, responsible for ensuring new products move from customer concept to production approval. This role requires hands-on coordination of the APQP lifecycle, active involvement in both product and process design, and strong documentation ownership to support PPAP and customer validation. Responsibilities Manage and compile all documentation for the PPAP submission process including process flow, PFMEA, control plan, material and test certificates, and dimensional reports Verify and validate test data and dimensional measurements for new parts in coordination with the Quality team Drive and coordinate Cross-Functional Team (CFT) meetings to align on design feasibility, process readiness, and customer timelines Serve as the internal liaison between Production, Quality, Tool Room, and Maintenance for all new product introduction activities Participate actively in product and process design reviews , ensuring alignment with customer expectations and manufacturability standards Maintain project tracking in ERP and prepare reports on development status, iterations, and sample approvals Qualification & Skill Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Production / Polymer Engineering 0 – 3 years of experience in NPD / APQP roles within automotive or clean energy component manufacturing Strong understanding of IATF 16949 , AIAG APQP framework , and PPAP requirements Proven ability to prepare and manage technical documentation for customer submissions Comfortable working across departments and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams Prior experience with rubber/elastomer components is highly preferred Familiarity with ERP systems and digital documentation workflows is a plus Join us in developing the components that power the future. 📩 Apply now at accounts@mmpl.co.in Show more Show less
