Apprentice

Job Purpose

The Apprentice supports the daily operations of the hotel while gaining hands-on experience across various departments. The role provides practical exposure to hospitality services, customer relations, and operational excellence, helping the apprentice build skills for a future career in the hotel industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. Guest Services

• Assist in greeting and welcoming guests courteously.
• Support check-in and check-out processes (if in Front Office).
• Handle guest inquiries and provide accurate information about hotel services and local attractions.

2. Operations Support

• Assist the assigned department (Housekeeping, F&B, Kitchen, or Front Office) in daily tasks.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and service standards are consistently met.
• Follow instructions and training provided by supervisors to maintain operational efficiency.

3. Food & Beverage (if applicable)

• Support service staff in setting up tables, serving guests, and clearing tables.
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards in the dining area.
• Assist in basic food preparation or beverage service under supervision.

4. Housekeeping (if applicable)

• Learn room-cleaning procedures, bed-making, and amenities arrangement.
• Assist in maintaining guest rooms and public areas according to hotel standards.
