About The Team
The Enhanced Application Managed Services (EAMS) team provides technical L1/L2 support for FIS products and clients Treasury and Payments business operations.
What You Will Be Doing
- We are looking for an experienced EAMS Support Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will~
- Provide L1/L2 technical support for enterprise applications and resolve client-reported issues promptly.
- Perform daily health checks on critical systems and ensure smooth application operations.
- Monitor system alerts and logs, proactively identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Troubleshoot application errors and coordinate with development or infrastructure teams for escalations.
- Manage incident tickets in ITSM tools, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation.
- Assist in application deployments, patching, and configuration changes as per release schedules.
- Maintain knowledge base articles and update SOPs for recurring issues and fixes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address performance, security, and compliance requirements.
- Provide client communication and status updates during incident resolution and maintenance activities.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
What You Bring
- 3 to 6 years of experience in L1/L2 support roles on Windows Server OS family
- Good experience in Product support for client-facing applications
- Hands-on experience with Windows PowerShell scripting
- Good knowledge of Windows services
- Understanding of Windows Batch File scripting, and TCP/IP concepts
- Experience in SFTP connectivity and troubleshooting. Basic SMTP understanding
- Familiarity with ticketing tools (e.g.,Remedy, ServiceNow) for incident management
- Willing to work in 24/5 Rotational basis shifts + Weekend activities as per requirement
