What you will be doing - Works with Onshore Tech Leads to ensure that assigned work is completed efficiently, meets business requirements, stays within scope, and is delivered on time Plays a key role in resolving technical roadblocks involving mainframe technologies. Responsible for building new / enhance mainframe Cobol programs / JCLs, use mainframe utilizes tools to complete the tasks,Run mainframe batch jobs, monitor and trouble shoot any roadblocks with the batch processes in collaboration with the onshore project leadsContinually improve quality of the deliverables Ensures code reviews, unit testing and integration testing is completed efficiently and effectively. Assisting in the identification, isolation, resolution and communication of problems within the production environment What You Bring - Overall 7 to 12 years of Testing Experience (Automation Testing). Experience in BFSI, Retirement domain preferredStrong understanding of testing fundamentals (SDLC, STLC), Defect Lifecycle, Test Plan, Test StrategyMust have scripting & debugging experience in any of automation tool like Selenium Java, Protractor or Cypress. Should be able to script independently once manually tested any functionalityShould have experience in End to End Testing or System testing, database testing (DB validations). Experience of Performance testing using JMeter will be added advantageMust have worked in Agile model. Understanding of Scrum ceremonies, Product Backlog etc. requiredShould be good team player, quick learner and out of the box thinker. Should work with ownership and accountabilityGood written and verbal communication skills.
