Job Purpose
- Strengthen Technical service function who cater to Auto OEM , CV & Industrial business India.
- Major OEMs customers fall In Auto OEM like HMIL/ RN/ IZUZU/ MSIL/ M&M , IFB, Legrand, LG , Plasser , Volvo etc
- Focus on Technical service to drive business development and retention of existing customers through timely line support/ color support / trouble shooting on line etc
- High engagement with OEM and large OEM Tier applicators across India. Instrumental in new business development and retention of existing business.
- Relationship management with Key Applicators / Tier 1 and OEM Design team.
- Implementation of NPIs as per OEM specification .
- System implementation and Training at applicator end through technical service team
- Handling customer complaints through tech service team and commercial quality management
Key Accountabilities
- Techno commercial job
- Leading technical service team
- Implementation of new products associated with business segments.
- Getting information on new technology in the market and work with product development and marketing.
- Work closely with R&D and Quality Assurance.
- New projects follow up and approvals based on business needs.
- Represent Akzo in OEM discussions along with commercial team.
- Support sales team in training and development
- Lead Commercial Quality function
Key Activities
- Drive OEM approvals for NPIs and OEM Audits
- Sales Team training
- NPI Implementation in Applicator lines.
Experience
- Minimum 3 to 4 Years experience in handling plastic painting / services/ business development
- Hands on experience in paint spraying/ shade matching/ complaint handling in applicator lines ( plastic painting )
- CRM
Education
- Degree or Diploma in Paint / Surface coating Technology
- Degree in Chemical Engineering OR MSC Chemistry.
