Application Developer Advisor
Talented C# .NET developer is needed to join US Medical Sales and Underwriting. The Developer in this role will be responsible for the architecture, technical design and development of new .NET applications and web services which will be critical components of the rating tools’ infrastructure. We are seeking a very strong C# .NET developer to work with a team of high-performing, high-caliber individuals who are focused and motivated to achieve the department goals.
This position will be on an agile team in the Sales and Underwriting Organization. They will be responsible for coding in a suite of .Net Applications that support various underwriting and sales users who create proposals and quotes used to sell group medical and dental insurance. The developer will code new functionality in these tools to support: screen and UI changes; report changes; and service layer changes. The position further requires strong analytical skills, as the suite of applications the team supports interacts not only with each other, but also with large number of applications, both within and outside the department. This complex system’s ecosystem necessitates an ability to dive in deeply to understand the interconnections between all these applications. This need is both creating new application code as well debugging problems within application and between applications in the wider system’s environment.
