15 years full time educationSummary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. A typical day involves collaborating with various teams to understand their needs, developing solutions that align with business objectives, and ensuring that applications are optimized for performance and usability. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, providing support and guidance to your team members while continuously seeking opportunities for improvement in application functionality and user experience. Core Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain complex reports using Jaspersoft Studio. - Lead the deployment and configuration of Jasper reports across environments. - Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Optimize report performance and ensure scalability for large datasets. - Provide L2/L3 support for Jasper and OBIEE reports across asset classes and geographies. - Maintain documentation for report logic, data sources, and deployment processes. Technical Skills: - Strong expertise in Jasper BI, PL/SQL, and PostgreSQL. - Proficiency in Java, Spring, Hibernate, and AngularJS is a plus. - Experience with Unix shell scripting, Python, and AWS services. - Familiarity with version control tools like Git. - Understanding of incident, problem, and change management processes. Domain Knowledge: - Experience in financial services, especially in benchmark reporting (e.g., S&P 500, DOW Jones). - Exposure to regulatory compliance frameworks such as ASIC, EMIR, and ESG. Professional Attributes: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and customer service orientation. - Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams. - Experience in client coordination, production support, and requirement analysis. Preferred Certifications: - AWS Practitioner/Associate level certification. - Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM or similar credentials
