Project Role : Application Developer Project Role Description : Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. Must have skills : AS/400 COBOL 400 (Programming Language) Good to have skills : NA Minimum 5 Year(s) Of Experience Is Required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: Experienced Application Lead with a strong background in AS400 technology, specializing in designing, building, and configuring robust applications. Proficient in providing end-to-end AS400 production support, ensuring system stability, timely issue resolution, and minimal downtime. Adept at leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with organizational goals. Skilled in strategic planning, project management, and problem-solving to ensure seamless application development and deployment. Expertise in leveraging AS400 systems to optimize business processes, enhance operational efficiency, and drive innovation. Known for excellent communication and leadership abilities, fostering collaboration to meet project milestones and exceed client expectations. Roles & Responsibilities: 1. minimum of 6+ years of experience in IBMi/iSeries technology with familiar with RPG programming, CL programming, File handling (PF,LF, DSPF, Printer file), SQL query) 2. Proficiency in AS400 Production support (handling MSGW, analysis with Dump to bring quick temporary fix to proceed/complete with Batch, handling Locks, Data area corrections) 3. Experience with SQL query (should be familiar with SELECT, INSERT,UPDATE, DELETE) 4. Ability to provide 24/7 on-call support for L3 teams, ensuring availability for Major incident and critical issues 5. Led incident response efforts, minimizing downtime and ensuring rapid resolution of production issues 6. Monitoring and alerting by using tools like ServiceNow, Splunk. 7. Excellent Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution skills 8. Incident response and root cause analysis. 9. Problem solving and debugging skills Additional Information: The candidate should have minimum 6+ years of experience in AS400 technology /iSeries Good to have experience with WinScp/other FTP tools, Run SQL scripts, ACS This position is based in Chennai/Bangalore 17 years of full time education Must and minimum one degree (Engineering graduate)
