Appium Testing

The Software Tester is responsible for manual testing and automated testing in various software projects. Working within a discipline, plans and conducts independent work requiring judgment in the requirement analysis, selection of test scenarios, creation of a set of test cases, running the tests, creation of reports of applications using various test automation tools. Provides regular and periodic testing and other metrics to the management. Devises new approaches to problems encountered to provide solutions to the customer. Works in close conjunction with the development teams to ensure good test coverage and high quality deliverables. Supports discipline in the performance of complex and demanding assignments requiring initiative and independent judgment. Demonstrates a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving.
Position Duties/ResponsibilitiesIndependently handle the Manual and Automated testing of applications, interacting with Product Owners, Project Managers and developersDevelop test scripts and test scenariosUnderstand Software performance requirements, interact with the users and developers to develop highly effective test scriptsDevelop automation test plans, test scenarios and manual test casesManual Testing of web applications and AP Understand Software requirements, interact with the users and developers to develop highly effective test casesCreate automated test cases in AppiumManual API TestingCreate and run regression suites Execute test cases, raise and maintain defects in JiraWork with developers to analyze defectsReport testing metrics periodicallyIndependently attend the Agile meetings with Agile teams and provide status, raise issues and work to resolve issue Work according to set organization and department related processes, procedures and polici Identify and implement technical innovations that add value and improve applications and work processesTotal Experience: 5 to 8 yearsAt least 5 years experience in the field of Manual Testing in a complex corporate environme At least 3 years experience in the field of Software Automated Testing using AppiumAt least 2 years experience in API TestingExcellent knowledge of test script creation, test case execution, test reporting and analysi Excellent Knowledge of Manual Testing on all types of platformsStrong problem solving and analytical skillsThe candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and be team orientedInnovative and assertive in proposingimplementing new ideas/processesHighly motivated and selfstarting, should have proactive approach to resolving issues and working with limited supervision Ability to quickly learn new technology and implement it effectively
