Job Description

As an Appium Automation Tester at our company, you will play a crucial role in leading the automation efforts for mobile application testing. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Appium for both Android and iOS platforms. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA analysts to ensure the delivery of high-quality mobile experiences. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement automated test scripts for mobile apps using Appium. - Develop reusable components and maintain automation frameworks for Android and iOS. - Execute functional, regression, and smoke tests across devices and OS versions. - Integrate mobile automation tests into CI/CD pipelines. - Analyze test results, identify issues, and report defects with detailed documentation. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. - Maintain test data and support test environment setup for mobile testing. Qualifications Required: - Hands-on experience with Appium for mobile automation. - Strong knowledge of mobile testing concepts (UI, gestures, device compatibility). - Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript for writing automation scripts. - Experience with TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest frameworks. - Familiarity with Android Studio, Xcode, and mobile emulators/simulators. - Understanding of XPath, accessibility IDs, and mobile locators.
