The Role

We are seeking a talented and meticulous 3D Medical Animation Specialist to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to create visually stunning and medically accurate animations for complex surgical procedures, with an initial focus on orthopedic and other advanced operations for small animals (dogs, cats, etc.), such as hip replacements.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with veterinary surgeons and medical professionals to understand and accurately visualize complex surgical procedures.

Model, texture, rig, and animate high-fidelity 3D assets of anatomical structures and surgical instruments.

Develop compelling and scientifically accurate 3D animation videos that explain surgical steps and procedural outcomes.

Work independently and as part of a team in our South Delhi studio, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Manage project timelines and deliver polished final products that meet client expectations.

Required Software Skills

The successful candidate must be highly proficient in the following software:

3D Modeling & Animation: Autodesk Maya or Blender (with a strong preference for Blender's open-source capabilities and a track record of medical animation).

Texturing: Adobe Substance Painter or similar tools.

Rendering: Octane Render, V-Ray, or Cycles (for Blender).

Compositing & Post-Production: Adobe After Effects or Nuke.

Video Editing: Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.

Asset Creation: ZBrush for high-detail sculpting is a plus.

Experience & Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in 3D animation, with a portfolio showcasing a strong emphasis on medical or scientific visualization. Experience with veterinary procedures is a significant advantage.

Skills:

Demonstrable expertise in 3D modeling, rigging, and animation.

A strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and surgical terminology.

Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to scientific accuracy.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to interpret technical information.

Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
