About the Project

2.5D isometric action-adventure PC game

Responsibilities

• Create

  high-quality 3D animations

  for:
• Combat mechanics (light/heavy attacks, combos, finishers).
• Movement cycles (running, walking, jumping, double-jumping, evading).
• Basic cinematic/scene animations (idles, cutscene gestures, environmental interactions).
• Work closely with the

  Game Designers

  to ensure animations align with gameplay mechanics and story tone.
• Collaborate with the technical team to integrate animations into Unity (Animator Controller, transitions, blend trees).
• Ensure animations are optimized for

  smooth performance

  on PC.
• Maintain consistency in style across both brothers while highlighting their

  unique combat personas

  (Sugreeva = agile, Vali = strong).
• Provide iterations based on team feedback and playtesting.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience

  in 3D animation for games.
• Strong portfolio showcasing

  character combat + movement animations

  .
• Proficiency in industry-standard tools (

  Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, MotionBuilder

  ).
• Understanding of

  Unity’s animation pipeline

  (Animator, Rigging, Import settings).
• Ability to animate

  combat weight, timing, and character personality

  .
• Strong grasp of

  body mechanics, timing, and anticipation

  .
• Collaborative mindset; able to work with remote teams.

Contract Details

• Duration:

  6 months (with potential extension).

• Commitment:

  Part-time (approx. 30 hrs/week).

• Compensation:

  Based on experience.
