Junior Rigging Artist (Contract)

About the Role:
We are looking for a Junior Rigging Artist to join our production team on a contract basis. As part of the character/creature rigging pipeline, you will work closely with senior riggers, animators, and modelers to build and maintain high-quality rigs that support both realistic and stylized animation for in-game use. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging rigging artist to gain production experience in a professional game development environment.
Understanding of rigging in Maya (or similar 3D tool) basics like joints, controllers, and constraints
Experience with skinning/weight painting Able to take initiative and problem-solve when technical challenges pop up .Excited to collaborate with animators and artists in a small-team environment
Good communication skills and openness to feedback.
Knowledge of scripting (Python or MEL) for automating simple rigging tasks
Familiarity with game engines like Unreal or Unity
Some exposure to facial rigging or stylized setups
