2.5D isometric action-adventure PC game

Junior UX/UI Artist

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the game designer to create

  UI wireframes, layouts, and mockups

  for menus, HUD, pause screens, and in-game overlays.
• Translate

  mythic + nature design direction

  into UI visuals (buttons, icons, navigation flows) while keeping it

  minimalist and player-friendly

  .
• Design

  menu systems

  (main menu, settings, pause, inventory panels) aligned with the art style of the game.
• Work closely with the Unity team to ensure UI assets are optimised for

  PC (keyboard-first)

  gameplay.
• Conduct quick

  usability tests

  on UI flows and recommend improvements.
• Prepare production-ready UI assets (icons, fonts, textures, layout sheets).
• Document UX flows and maintain consistency across screens.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience

  as a UI/UX designer or artist in games (indie or studio).
• Strong portfolio showcasing

  UI/UX work in games

  (menus, HUD, screens).
• Proficiency in

  Figma / Photoshop / Illustrator

  (or similar design tools).
• Understanding of UX best practices for

  PC games

  (keyboard navigation, readability, scaling for 1080p–2K).
• Ability to balance

  mythic/nature-inspired aesthetics

  with minimalist, modern UX design.
• Strong communication & collaboration skills.
• Passion for games, especially action-adventure / indie genres.

Contract Details

• Duration:

  3 months (with potential extension).

• Commitment:

  Part-time (approx. 30 hrs/week).

• Compensation:

  Based on experience.

• Deliverables:

  Final UI layouts + assets for menus, HUD, settings, pause menu, and interactive elements.
