Position: Android Developer
Experience Required: 5+ Years
Location: Gurugram (On-site/Hybrid as per company policy)
Salary Range: Up to 12 LPA

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Android Developer with over 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performing mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Kotlin/Java, Android SDK, and modern development frameworks, along with experience in integrating APIs and delivering secure, reliable apps.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Work with APIs, RESTful web services, and third-party libraries.
• Identify and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and application crashes.
• Implement secure coding practices and data protection in apps.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Android application development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Expertise in Android SDK, Jetpack components (LiveData, ViewModel, Room, Navigation, Data Binding).
• Solid understanding of Material Design principles and UI/UX standards.
• Experience with Retrofit, Dagger/Hilt, RxJava, Coroutines.
• Familiarity with MVVM/MVP/MVI architecture patterns.
• Knowledge of Firebase services (Push notifications, Analytics, Crashlytics).
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for Android apps.
• Exposure to Unit testing / Espresso / JUnit.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of publishing apps on the Google Play Store.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹283,653.34 - ₹1,309,800.36 per year
