Job Title: QA Analyst – Underwriting

Experience

We are looking for a skilled QA Analyst with strong experience in the Insurance Underwriting domain. The candidate will be responsible for testing underwriting systems, validating risk assessment workflows, and ensuring compliance with business rules, rating logic, and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Testing (Underwriting)

Understand and validate Underwriting rules, risk assessment logic, and rating calculations.

Test quote generation, policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations.

Auto, Property, GL, Life — based on requirement).

Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business teams.

Identify gaps in underwriting guidelines and system rules.

QA & Testing Activities

Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and RTM.

Execute manual testing and document defects with clear steps.

Postman/Swagger

SQL Queries for backend validation (optional but preferred).

Ensure the system follows regulatory and compliance requirements.

Tools

JIRA / ALM / Azure DevOps – for test management and defect tracking.
