Analyst II, Data Analysis

Job Purpose

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Reference Data Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, maintaining, and improving data processes related to the Securitized Securities market. This role involves working with large datasets, identifying process improvement opportunities, and implementing automation solutions to enhance data quality and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and maintain reference data for securitized securities and structured finance instruments.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance data accuracy and operational workflows.
• Develop and maintain scripts and tools using SQL, VBA, and Python to automate data processing tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards using XBRL and XML formats.
• Integrate data from various sources using REST APIs and structured data formats like JSON.
• Support the deployment and maintenance of automation tools such as Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, and UI Path.
• Document data processes, workflows, and technical specifications for internal use and audits.

Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, computer science, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science and Business Analytics is preferred
• Proficiency in SQL, VBA, and Python for data analysis and automation.
• Experience with XBRL, XML, JSON, and REST API integration.
• Familiarity with RPA tools such as Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, and UI Path.
• 5 years of experience in process automations
• Familiarity of capital markets domain.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
