Analyst, Compliance

As an Analyst at GLG based in Gurugram, India, you will play a crucial role in GLG's global compliance department by providing support for global client service professionals. Your responsibilities will include: - Learning and understanding GLG's compliance policies and procedures to uphold the integrity of client engagements. - Conducting internet-based searches and evaluating the completeness, accuracy, and appropriateness of individual or entity profiles. - Identifying correct/incorrect business practices and promptly escalating compliance breaches. - Enforcing key requirements of the firm and regulators" Legal & Compliance rules and policies. - Managing tasks efficiently with complete ownership and timeliness. - Engaging with client service professionals daily to offer support and ensure excellent service delivery to clients. - Collaborating with different business units to navigate complex situations effectively. - Researching unique issues and proposing solutions through situation-specific inquiries. Qualifications required for this role include: - Graduate/Postgraduate with a minimum of 1 year of relevant industry experience in Compliance, Due Diligence, or Risk Management. - Mandatory fluency in English (verbal and written). - Desirable skills include fluency in Japanese and/or Korean languages. - Excellent internet-based research skills with familiarity in investigative tools. - Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. - Effective interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams. - Proven track record of successful teamwork. - Ability to adapt to dynamic environments with stringent deadlines. - Strong analytical skills and structured problem-solving approach. - Capability to work independently under minimal supervision.
