Purpose
To establish and sustain a leading position in Product Chemistry within the AMEA region. Empower the global CP regulatory organization by providing comprehensive and up-to-date Regulatory Product Chemistry documentation, facilitating the acquisition and maintenance of registrations in AMEA in alignment with business objectives. Contribute to the continuous improvement and operational excellence of the CP Product Chemistry Team.
Accountabilities
- Manage the technical aspect (regulatory chemistry) of a portfolio of active ingredients and their corresponding marketed products for AMEA, including life cycle management responsibilities. This will be in full alignment with globally defined ways of working, and with a dotted reporting line to the Global Product Chemistry Team Manager.
- Collaborate with Global Product Chemistry Managers and Global/Local Regulatory Managers to develop regulatory chemistry strategies that are in alignment with AMEA and country-specific regulatory requirements, guidelines, and company policies.
- Provide technical expertise in regulatory chemistry to all relevant stakeholders, including internal teams (such as product safety, production & supply), external partners, and regulatory authorities. This involves interpreting complex regulatory requirements, providing strategic advice on issues, and ensuring that all product chemistry documentation meets the highest standards of accuracy and completeness. Additionally, act as a key resource for troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges related to product chemistry and regulatory processes in AMEA.
- Prepare, outsource, and submit comprehensive technical documentation and pertinent sections of registration dossiers to support registration processes in AMEA. Ensure that all documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely manner to meet regulatory requirements.
- Effectively advocate for the company's positions on pertinent issues. This involves presenting robust scientific evidence to support the company's stance.

- Establish and maintain trust and confidence with Product Registration partners across the AMEA region and individual countries.
- Demonstrate perceptiveness and proactivity in identifying potential issues and possess the ability to structure and simplify complex data and information from a Product Chemistry perspective.
- Efficiently manage and interpret large volumes of complex data, ensuring clarity and accuracy in all regulatory documentation and communications.
- Handle complex regulatory issues and make decisions that support AMEA business goals.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to balance priorities and integrate regulatory strategies seamlessly.

Qualifications
Experience required for the job
- More than 2 years of working experience in Product Registration or relevant product development or Regulatory chemistry areas
- Ability to work within and contribute to cross-functional teams
- Clear evidence of results orientation, project coordination / management and communication skills
Minimum Education And Critical Knowledge Required For The Job
- Degree in chemistry or an equivalent technical qualification, preferably at the postgraduate level.
- Ability to critically analyze data, think laterally, and write creatively to present convincing scientific arguments supporting registrations.
- Sound knowledge and experience of CP Regulatory requirements and/or regulatory science issues, with a broader understanding of AMEA processes.
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in additional languages preferred.
- Comfortable working remotely and effectively connecting with Global and AMEA teams.
- Experience that allows the individual to work independently with some supervision and mentoring, regularly consulting superiors on key decisions and policy issues.
- Well-developed communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent teamwork, project management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to complete and deliver projects on time and with high quality.
