Job Description

As an Alliance Sales Manager based in Kolkata in the Retail Operations department, your primary role is to handle strategic partnerships and in-store activation/promotions to generate net revenue for the company at the regional level. You will be responsible for delivering the total alliance revenue budget for EAST by identifying new opportunities for alliances/partnerships across various brands/companies, both B2B, and making them profitable for the company through SIS (Space), Branding (Assets), Activations, etc. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and deliver 100% TA & Alliance Assets including Alliance Space, Cash Till related items, Trolleys, Pillars, Travelletor, etc. - Handle existing and new vendors & strategic partners to retain existing partnerships and generate net revenue for the company. - Raise invoices to all vendors, existing ones within the first 2 days of every month (in advance). - Submit the income report monthly by the 4th of every month to the Regional Commercial team. - Maintain the Asset Inventory Tracker, Pipeline, and other required data on specified timelines. - Track the availability of branding elements across stores and coordinate with the legal department for agreements. - Manage accounts with major Alliance partners and ensure smooth implementation in terms of standards and timelines. - Coordinate with the Store team and related functional departments for the accommodation of elements through PR. - Ensure smooth implementation in terms of standards and timelines. - Track the booking status of all elements month-wise and drive business through regional contacts. - Conduct competition benchmarking and introduce new lines of services to enhance the shopping experience for our shoppers/Target Group (TG). - Introduce new business models/activities/verticals that would drive long-term revenue. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in alliance sales or a similar role within the retail industry. - Strong negotiation and communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple vendors and partnerships simultaneously. - Proficiency in handling financial aspects such as budgeting, invoicing, and income reporting. - Knowledge of branding elements and their impact on sales. - Excellent coordination and project management skills. - Understanding of competition benchmarking and the ability to introduce innovative business models.
