🧠 Role Description

We are looking for an AI/ML Lead to spearhead the development of cutting-edge Facial Recognition, Object Detection, and Video Intelligence features for our proprietary VMS platform. You will lead the research, development, and optimization of AI models deployed across real-time IP camera feeds.

You’ll also manage a small team of AI/ML engineers and work closely with our backend, frontend, and mobile teams to build scalable, production-ready AI modules that directly impact global security operations.

🧪 Responsibilities

• Build and deploy production-grade models for facial recognition, object/person detection, and activity recognition

• Optimize AI pipelines for real-time performance and edge device compatibility

• Lead, mentor, and manage a small AI/ML engineering team

• Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and cloud architects to integrate AI modules into the VMS platform

• Stay on top of the latest developments in deep learning and computer vision research

• Ensure model accuracy, efficiency, and scalability across diverse real-world environments

🔧 Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning and Deep Learning (preferably in Computer Vision)

• Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, OpenCV, and relevant DL libraries

• Strong background in building models for facial recognition (FaceNet, ArcFace, etc.) and object detection (YOLO, SSD, Faster R-CNN)

• Experience with ONNX, TensorRT, or other optimization tools for edge inference

• Experience integrating AI models with IP camera feeds (RTSP/ONVIF protocols preferred)

• Solid understanding of data preprocessing, model evaluation, and tuning

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• Experience with Jetson Nano/Xavier, Edge TPUs, or other AI hardware

• Background in surveillance systems, security platforms, or VMS architecture

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
