Job Summary

Kundan Agri AI is seeking a hands-on AI/ML Engineer to design, build, and deploy intelligent systems for real-world agricultural environments. This role focuses on computer vision, edge AI, and data-driven intelligence to power autonomous machines and smart farming solutions.

You will work on AI models that help machines identify crops and weeds, detect diseases and pests, assess soil and field conditions, and operate reliably in unstructured outdoor environments.

Key Responsibilities

● Model Development: Design, develop, train, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models for agricultural applications.

● Agri-Intelligence: Build AI solutions for crop detection, weed identification, disease & pest detection, yield prediction, and quality analysis.

● Computer Vision: Develop and optimize computer vision models (object detection, segmentation, classification).

● Sensor Fusion: Integrate data from RGB cameras, LiDAR, multispectral sensors, GPS, and IoT devices.

● Edge Deployment: Optimize and deploy models for edge AI platforms (NVIDIA Jetson, OAK-D, embedded systems) and via APIs or cloud platforms.

● Robotics Support (Preferred): Develop or support navigation, path planning, and obstacle avoidance logic.

● Data Management: Build and manage pipelines for data collection, annotation, preprocessing, and versioning.

● Best Practices: Maintain clean documentation, reproducible experiments, and version control (Git).

Required Skills & Qualifications

● Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, ML, Data Science, or a related field.

● Core Fundamentals: Strong fundamentals in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Statistical Modeling.

● Programming: Proficiency in Python (C++ is a plus for performance/edge optimization).

● Frameworks: Hands-on experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.

● Computer Vision: Strong experience with OpenCV, CNNs, YOLO, or similar frameworks.

● DevOps/MLOps: Understanding of model deployment, REST APIs, and MLOps workflows.

● Data: Experience working with SQL / NoSQL databases.

Preferred / Added Advantage

● Experience in AgriTech, Precision Agriculture, IoT, GIS, or Remote Sensing.

● Experience with ROS / ROS2.

● Knowledge of time-series forecasting models.

● Exposure to real-time inference, edge AI, or embedded deployments.

● Familiarity with field conditions, sensor noise, and outdoor data challenges.
