AI Product Manager Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated AI Product Manager Intern to join our Data & AI Platform team. In this role, you will help shape how enterprise teams at Resmed build, deploy, and adopt AI-powered solutions at scale. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to define requirements, explore use cases, and contribute to our AI product roadmap.

This internship is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in enterprise AI product management , balancing technical depth with user-centric problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Product Management team in defining requirements for AI services, APIs, and platform capabilities.

• Conduct research on AI/GenAI use cases across business functions (e.g., R&D, operations, customer engagement) and translate them into structured opportunity assessments.

• Partner with engineering and data science teams to create user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation.

• Analyze usage metrics, user feedback, and competitive benchmarks to inform prioritization and feature design.

• Assist in preparing product review materials, executive updates, and go-to-market artifacts.

• Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) as part of a cross-functional squad.

Additional GenAI Focus

• Contribute to GenAI initiatives such as RAG, chatbots, and prompt-driven solutions, from requirements through testing and insights.

• Research AI governance, security, and responsible AI practices relevant to GenAI adoption in enterprises.

• Benchmark competitive GenAI offerings to identify differentiation opportunities for Resmed’s AI platform.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong interest in AI/ML and GenAI technologies and their enterprise applications.

• Analytical and structured thinker, with the ability to break down complex problems into clear requirements.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business stakeholders.

• Experience with any of the following is a plus (not required):

• • Product management frameworks (e.g., user stories, roadmapping, prioritization).

  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • GenAI concepts such as LLMs, embeddings, RAG, or prompt engineering.

  • Exposure to medtech/healthcare or familiarity with healthcare compliance contexts (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)
