Role Overview

We are looking for an AI / Computer Vision Engineer to design and develop advanced offline video-based motion analysis systems. You will work on extracting meaningful insights from pre-recorded sports videos—turning raw movement data into actionable coaching feedback.

You’ll play a key role in building the core AI engine that powers Future Sportler’s platform.

🛠️ What You’ll Work On

• Build end-to-end computer vision pipelines for offline sports video analysis
• Implement pose estimation, action recognition, and movement classification models
• Develop biomechanics-inspired feedback systems (joint angles, trajectories, posture evaluation)
• Train and fine-tune deep learning models on curated sports datasets
• Research and experiment with state-of-the-art methods in video understanding
• Design scoring, comparison, and technique evaluation metrics
• Collaborate closely with product, coaching, and sports science teams to convert model outputs into usable insights

What We’re Looking For

• Strong fundamentals in Computer Vision & Deep Learning
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Familiarity with pose estimation frameworks such as:

MMPose

MediaPipe

OpenPose

Detectron2

• Experience in at least one of the following:
• Action recognition
• Video segmentation
• Temporal modeling (LSTM, TCNs, Transformers, etc.)
• Ability to clean, annotate, and curate video datasets
• Comfortable converting research papers into working prototypes

Bonus Points If You Have

Experience in sports-tech or video analytics

Understanding of athlete biomechanics or movement science

Experience building scalable video processing pipelines

Strong skills in model evaluation, error analysis, and iteration
