We are looking for a seasoned technical leader to head our AI Centre of Excellence and elevate our automation capabilities to enterprise-grade standards. As the AI & Automation Solutions Manager, you will be responsible for driving engineering excellence, implementing scalable DevOps practices, and delivering robust AI/Automation solutions. This role blends hands-on technical contribution with strategic leadership, enabling the transformation of innovative prototypes into reliable, maintainable, and secure enterprise solutions.
About the Role:
- Lead and mentor a team of AI/Automation developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Drive the adoption of software engineering best practices including version control, clean code principles, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Design and manage multi-environment deployment strategies (Dev → UAT → QA → Prod) with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on AWS and GCP, leveraging serverless technologies for flexibility and global reach.
- Establish robust logging, monitoring, and observability frameworks to support production-grade AI systems.
- Create reusable components, shared workflows, and configuration management practices to accelerate development and reduce technical debt.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, security, compliance, and governance to ensure alignment and enterprise readiness.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and oversee solution design, development, and deployment.
- Actively contribute to development efforts, troubleshoot complex issues, and prototype emerging technologies to assess fit and value.
About You:
- Experience: 8+ years in software development; 3+ years in engineering management; 5+ years in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP); 3+ years in DevOps.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Python, Java; familiar with AI/ML tools (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face); experience with UiPath, Langraph, AWS Agentcore, Google Agentspace, Crew.ai.
- Leadership: Proven ability to mentor teams, implement engineering standards, and drive productivity.
- Process Expertise: Skilled in CI/CD, automated testing, multi-environment deployments, and observability.
- Domain Knowledge: Understanding of AI/ML lifecycle, automation governance, and enterprise software delivery.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s in computer science or related field; AWS/GCP certifications; experience with monitoring tools like DataDog; knowledge of identity and access management systems.
