Key responsibilities
Making on-site field visits, meet farmers and other related stakeholders.
Prepare field visit reports, case studies, recommendations to understand farmer needs & challenges to develop Fermented Organic Manure demand.
Develop book of business: potential customers, farmers, agricultural businesses, and distributors.
Design and manage aggregation, storage, logistics, and distribution systems.
Provide product recommendations based on specific needs of soils and crops.
Responsible for pre-season, Post season field activities to assist in smooth business of the region. Solving and managing customer concerns, problems
Manage FOM operation strategy, ware housing and Inventory Management.
Prepare and manage annual budgets for organic manure operations.
Optimize use of resources like water, electricity, fertilizers, machinery, and labour.
Develop business in FOM and LFOM domain networking with supply and dealer,
retailers, wholesalers, institutional buyers, exporters, processors.
Lead to support and optimize key aspects of supply chain.
Identify & facilitate buyers, bulk purchase, contract farming opportunities, dealing with aggregators
Support the go-to-market strategy and drive business growth.
Analyses sales data and market feedback to identify new opportunities.
Experience:
5-8 years sales experience in Agri-inputs (Fermented Organic manure, fertilizers, pesticides, seeds, etc.). Working with CBG plant, press mud Based Organic Manure, Liquid FOM is often preferred. Proven experience in organic manure supply chain. Knowledge of modern farming techniques, crop rotation, irrigation, and pest management. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s / master’s degree in Agricultural Science / Agriculture Engineering, Horticulture, Agronomy, or related field (master’s preferred). Proficiency in farm management software or MS Office.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of farming practices, crop management, soil health, and the technical aspects of fermented organic manure production and application.
Production of PROM, Liquid Fermented organic manure various techniques.
Knowledge about different fermentation method i.e. Pile, Trench, tank etc.
Technical expertise in drying, crushing, screening, and potentially granulating the final product for easier storage, transport, and application.
Familiarity with equipment used in large-scale production, such as dewatering machines, compost turners, pulverisers, and granulators.
Knowledge about Chemical and Physical characteristics and measurement methods i.e. C: N ratio, Moisture, Ph Value, Electrical conductivity etc.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; self-motivated, analytical, and strong problem-solving abilities.
Other Requirements:
Willingness to travel frequently across regions as needed.
