Building and maintaining a test automation framework will be a crucial part of your responsibilities, including creating robust and maintainable test cases covering various ETL processes, database systems, and data analyses. Implementing Quality Engineering Strategies, best practices, and guidelines to ensure scalability, reusability, and maintainability is an essential aspect of the role. As part of the position, you will be expected to identify, replicate, and report defects, as well as verify defect fixes. Data accuracy, completeness, and consistency will be validated using ETL tools and SQL queries. Being proactive, adaptable to changes, and possessing strong communication skills (both verbal and written) are key attributes for success in this role. Expertise in DB-related testing and ETL testing, along with strong Python programming skills and proficiency in SQL and ETL tools like pandas and great expectations, are necessary. Knowledge of SQL and experience working with databases such as Redshift, Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Postgres, and Snowflake is required. Additionally, familiarity with analyzing population data and demographics, version control using Gitlab, pipeline integration, and working under pressure with strong attention to detail are essential qualities for this position. The role also involves contribution motivation, good verbal and written communication skills, mentorship, knowledge sharing, experience with Jira, knowledge of Agile methodology, and hands-on experience in DevOps like Gitlab CI/CD pipeline.
