Quality Analyst Intern

As a Quality Analyst Intern at Adhoc Softwares in Coimbatore, you will be part of a detail-oriented and enthusiastic team focusing on software testing practices. This internship will provide you with hands-on exposure to various aspects of software testing, including test case creation, bug reporting, regression testing, and working within Agile methodology. You will have the opportunity to gain real-time experience in STLC and SDLC while being mentored by experienced QA professionals. Candidates with ISTQB certification or knowledge are preferred. Your key responsibilities will include: - Assisting in creating, reviewing, and executing test cases. - Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs using standard bug reporting tools. - Performing functional, regression, and exploratory testing. - Collaborating with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables. - Supporting the QA team in maintaining test documentation and reporting results. - Learning and applying Agile methodology in project testing workflows. - Participating in reviews, stand-ups, and sprint planning sessions. To qualify for this role, you should: - Be pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. - Have a strong understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC. - Possess knowledge of test case design and bug life cycle. - Demonstrate good analytical and problem-solving skills. - Have basic familiarity with Agile methodology. - Exhibit strong communication skills and attention to detail. Preferred Skills (Added Advantage): - ISTQB Foundation Level Certification (or pursuing). - Knowledge of regression testing techniques. - Experience with any bug tracking tool (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Trello). - Familiarity with basic automation concepts.
