About This Role As our HR Manager for the India office, you will play a crucial role in building and managing our growing presence in the region. This position requires a strategic mindset, cultural sensitivity, and a deep understanding of the Indian business landscape. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our company's expansion goals while ensuring compliance with local regulations. You will also coordinate with US leadership and HR departments to help maintain global regulatory compliance. What You'll Do Drive Workplace Culture: Lead initiatives to foster a strong, inclusive, and high-performing culture, ensuring that Instead’s values are deeply embedded across the organization. Talent Strategy & Acquisition: Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans to attract, hire, and retain top talent, aligning with business objectives and growth targets. Performance Management: Lead the performance management process, including goal setting, feedback, and reviews, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering a high-performance culture. Organizational Development: Design and implement organizational structures and talent strategies that support business needs and drive operational excellence. Employee Engagement : Implement targeted engagement programs and recognition initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction, proactively addressing concerns to maintain a motivated workforce. HR Operations & Compliance: Oversee HR operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with all labor laws and regulations. Business Partnership & Stakeholder Management: Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing HR insights and recommendations to support business decisions. Employer Branding: Own and enhance employer branding initiatives to attract top talent and position Instead as an employer of choice in the market. HR Systems & Technology: Manage and optimize HR systems and technology to improve HR service delivery and data-driven decision making. Policy Development: Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures that align with best practices and support a fair, inclusive workplace. What You'll Need 5-7 years of experience in human resource management Excel in aligning HR strategies with business goals, demonstrating strong business acumen and effective stakeholder management. Have a proven track record of driving DEI initiatives and building inclusive, positive workplace cultures. Are skilled in developing and implementing strategic recruitment plans that attract and retain top talent. Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing senior leadership and driving HR initiatives across the organization. Have hands-on experience in HR operations, including compliance, HRIS management, and process optimization.
