Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Jenkins Administrator with expertise in Groovy scripting, pipeline creation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of webhooks, cloud infrastructure (preferably Google Cloud Platform), and tools such as Argo CD and Spinnaker. Additionally, knowledge of Kubernetes provisioning, deployment, and troubleshooting in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) is essential. The candidate should also be proficient in Docker and containerization, with the ability to write Dockerfiles. Strong communication skills and familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban practices are required for effective stakeholder management. Skills required to contribute: Key Administer and manage Jenkins servers and environments. Develop and maintain Jenkins pipelines using Groovy scripting. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless integration and deployment processes. Configure and manage webhooks for automated workflows. Work with cloud infrastructure, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), to support Jenkins environments. Utilize Argo CD and Spinnaker for continuous delivery and deployment. Provision, deploy, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters in GKE. Handle deployment failures and perform root cause analysis. Integrate and manage SonarQube within Jenkins for code quality analysis. Develop and maintain Dockerfiles for containerized applications. Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth CI/CD processes. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage expectations. Follow Agile, Scrum, and Kanban practices to ensure efficient project management. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Jenkins Administrator or similar role. Expertise in Groovy scripting and Jenkins pipeline creation. Strong knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools. Experience with webhooks and cloud infrastructure (preferably GCP). Proficiency in Argo CD and Spinnaker. In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes provisioning, deployment, and troubleshooting in GKE. Familiarity with SonarQube integration and usage within Jenkins. Strong understanding of Docker and containerization, with the ability to write Dockerfiles. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban practices. Preferred Skills: Certification in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Kubernetes. Experience with other CI/CD tools and platforms. Knowledge of additional scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
