Job Description

Role Description:

  • Assist in the

    structural design

    of aircraft and UAV components, including wings, fuselage, empennage, and landing gear.
  • Perform

    Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

    for structural integrity, stress distribution, and optimization of aircraft components.
  • Perform load, stress, strain, deflection, fatigue, and safety factor calculations.
  • Conduct simulations and wind tunnel tests to evaluate the performance of various aircraft systems.
  • Support CFD and wind tunnel analysis for lift, drag, stability, and control.
  • Choose lightweight, high-strength materials balancing performance and cost.
  • Involve in prototype fabrication, assembly checks, and flight tests.
  • Assist in researching new materials, manufacturing methods, and design solutions.
  • Prepare design reports, CAD drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Address design or performance issues during testing and manufacturing.
  • Work with mechanical, electrical, and avionics teams for system integration.
  • Stay updated with advances in aerodynamics, structures, and computational tools


Skills:

• Proficient in CAD and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for CFD and FEA analysis.

• Understanding of aerodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials science.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of aircraft systems and their integration.
